Integrating Scrutinizer and Host Finder

Scrutinizer integrates with Host Finder from Somix Technologies

Scrutinizer now allows users to customize a link to their favorite web-based network application. The globe icon can now be replaced by any icon; which, when clicked on from within Scrutinizer, launches the specified application. Scrutinizer will pass appropriate authentication and device identification to applications like Somix's Host Finder.

Host Finder, when launched on a router or switch, gives the ability to view all ports on that router or switch, as well as control device access and connectivity to each port. Have a host in Scrutinizer that is exhibiting problematic traffic patterns? Just launch Host Finder on that host, directly from Scrutinizer, and turn off that user's access to the port they are connected to.

All installation and integration for Host Finder should be handled directly by Somix Technologies.
